Contemporary local jazz collective, Jigsaw, celebrate their first studio CD release: M*BASS, recorded with the studios at Charles Darwin University, where all the members have graduated in Music. Jigsaw are moving towards a nationally reputable jazz-fusion outfit with accolades like winner of the International Sabian Forum Battle of the Bands, Territory Winner of the Uni Battle of the Bands and showcases in the Adelaide Fuse and Fringe Festivals.

The album also includes DVD containing the short documentary “Bring out the Jam” produced by a collaboration between Powerfunk and Formation Studios. It gives a view into the recording of the M*bass album. The DVD also contains a host of extra short films including other collaborations between Powerfunk and Formation and the products of other NT film makers who have used Jigsaw music as back drop for their films.
